Philip Schmidt

Philip is a native of Minnesota.  He has his bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and is a Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist, and Certified Fraud Examiner.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.  He was previously an Audit Supervisor with RSM US LLP and an Audit Manager with Heinold Banwart. 

 

During his 12 years in public accounting, Philip helped local businesses and traveled the country as an auditor, tax accountant, business advisor, and forensic accountant.  He has also served as a quality assurance reviewer and firm peer reviewer.  In his spare time, Philip loves to watch sports and be outdoors with his wife Kristin.

To help provide his clients the most accurate and up-to-date market and regulatory information, Michael stays actively involved in the Financial Planning Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, is a member of several financial planning national study groups, and regularly attends industry seminars and workshops.

 

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).  He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota and has an MBA degree from Illinois State University.  He currently holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses.  He is actively involved in his community and enjoys reading, golf, playing hockey and spending time with his wife and family.
